Welcome to LetsBook, a multi-tenant booking platform operated by Kyngsly Technologies ("LetsBook," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our platform at letsbook.com or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE OUR PLATFORM.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kyngsly Technologies. Your use of LetsBook indicates your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
Important: These Terms contain an arbitration clause and class action waiver that affects your legal rights. Please read Section 16 carefully.
2. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
"Platform" means the LetsBook website, mobile applications, and all related services
"Business Owner" or "Provider" means any individual or entity that creates a business account to offer booking services
"Customer" or "Client" means any individual who books an appointment through a Business Owner's booking page
"User" means both Business Owners and Customers collectively
"Booking Page" means the public-facing page created by a Business Owner (e.g., letsbook.com/your-business)
"Services" means the services offered by Business Owners to Customers (haircuts, spa treatments, etc.)
"Appointment" means a scheduled booking between a Customer and Business Owner
"Content" means text, images, data, and other materials uploaded to the Platform
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Business Owner account. Customers must be at least 13 years old to book appointments (or 16 in the EU). Users aged 13-17 must have parental or guardian consent.
3.2 Authority to Bind
If you are creating a Business Owner account on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3.3 Geographic Restrictions
LetsBook is currently available in the United States and select international markets. Payment processing via Stripe is subject to Stripe's supported countries. You are responsible for compliance with local laws in your jurisdiction.
3.4 Prohibited Users
You may not use LetsBook if:
You have been previously banned or suspended from the Platform
You are located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country
You are on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of LetsBook, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password confidential and secure
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
4.3 One Account Per Business
Business Owners may only create one account per business entity. Creating multiple accounts for the same business is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
4.4 Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk.
5. Business Owner Services
5.1 Booking Page Creation
Business Owners can create custom booking pages to accept online appointments. You agree to:
Provide accurate business information (name, address, hours, services)
Use a unique, non-infringing business name and slug (URL)
Upload only images you own or have rights to use
Keep your services, pricing, and availability up to date
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5.2 Service Descriptions and Pricing
You are solely responsible for:
Accurate service descriptions, durations, and pricing
Tax collection and remittance (we provide tools but you're responsible for compliance)
Deposit and cancellation policies
Honoring the prices displayed at the time of booking
5.3 Staff Management
If you add staff members to your account, you are responsible for their actions on the Platform. You must ensure staff comply with these Terms and any applicable laws.
5.4 Customer Data Responsibilities
As a Business Owner, you are an independent data controller for customer information you collect. You must:
Have a privacy policy compliant with applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Obtain necessary consents from customers
Handle customer data securely and in compliance with data protection laws
Respond to customer data requests (access, deletion, etc.)
Not use customer data for unauthorized purposes
5.5 Service Delivery
You agree to:
Provide services as described in your booking page
Honor confirmed appointments unless cancelled per your policy
Maintain professional standards and quality of service
Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally
5.6 Grace Period for Stripe Setup
New Business Owners receive a grace period to complete Stripe Connect setup. If you do not connect a Stripe account within the grace period, your booking page will be disabled until setup is complete. We are not responsible for lost bookings during this period.
6. Customer Bookings
6.1 Booking Appointments
When you book an appointment through a Business Owner's booking page, you agree to:
Provide accurate contact information
Arrive on time for your scheduled appointment
Comply with the Business Owner's policies (cancellation, no-show, etc.)
Pay for services as agreed at the time of booking
6.2 Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellation policies are set by individual Business Owners. You may be subject to:
Cancellation fees if you cancel within the notice period
Loss of deposits for no-shows or late cancellations
Restrictions on future bookings for repeated no-shows
LetsBook is not responsible for enforcing Business Owner policies but provides tools for Business Owners to manage cancellations.
6.3 Service Quality
LetsBook does not provide the services listed on booking pages. Services are provided by independent Business Owners. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided. Any disputes should be resolved directly with the Business Owner.
6.4 Reviews
After your appointment, you may be invited to leave a review. You agree to:
Provide honest, factual feedback
Not include offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
Not post fake reviews or reviews for services you didn't receive
Allow the Business Owner to respond to your review
Business Owners may choose to publish or hide reviews. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.
7. Payments and Fees
7.1 Platform Fees (Business Owners)
LetsBook currently offers free access to the Platform for Business Owners. We reserve the right to introduce subscription fees or transaction fees in the future with 30 days' notice to existing users.
7.2 Payment Processing Fees
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe charges processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for U.S. cards). These fees are deducted from payments before funds are deposited to your bank account. Refer to Stripe's pricing for details.
7.3 Customer Payments
When you book an appointment, you may be required to pay:
Deposit: A partial payment to secure your booking
Full Payment: The entire service cost upfront
Pay Later: Payment at the time of service (if offered by Business Owner)
7.4 Tax Collection
Business Owners are responsible for calculating and collecting applicable taxes. LetsBook provides tax calculation tools but does not remit taxes on your behalf. You are solely responsible for tax compliance in your jurisdiction.
7.5 Currency
All prices are displayed in the currency selected by the Business Owner (typically USD). International transactions may be subject to currency conversion fees by your bank or payment provider.
7.6 Payment Authorization
By providing payment information, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge the specified amount. You represent that you have the legal right to use the payment method provided.
8. Stripe Connect Integration
8.1 Stripe Agreement
To accept payments, Business Owners must connect a Stripe account. By doing so, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service.
8.2 Direct Payments
LetsBook uses Stripe Connect for direct payments. This means:
Customer payments go directly to the Business Owner's bank account
LetsBook never holds customer funds
Payouts are managed by Stripe (typically 2-7 business days)
Disputes, chargebacks, and refunds are handled through Stripe
8.3 Account Verification
Stripe may require additional information to verify your identity and business. Failure to complete verification may result in payout delays or account restrictions.
8.4 Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds are initiated by Business Owners through the LetsBook dashboard. Chargebacks initiated by customers are handled by Stripe. Business Owners are responsible for responding to chargeback disputes and may be liable for chargeback fees.
8.5 Payout Failures
If a payout fails due to incorrect bank information or account issues, you are responsible for updating your Stripe account information. LetsBook is not responsible for failed payouts.
9. User Content and Intellectual Property
9.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to LetsBook (business logos, service images, descriptions, staff photos, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Platform services.
9.2 Content Representations
You represent and warrant that:
You own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload
Your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
Your content does not violate any laws or these Terms
Your content is accurate and not misleading
9.3 Prohibited Content
You may not upload content that:
Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
Infringes intellectual property rights
Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
Is sexually explicit or promotes illegal activities
Violates privacy rights of others
Is false, misleading, or deceptive
9.4 Content Monitoring
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, review, and remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may remove content without notice.
9.5 Backup Responsibility
While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content. We are not liable for any loss of content.
10. Prohibited Uses
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
You agree not to:
10.1 Platform Abuse
Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
Bypass any security measures or rate limits
10.2 Fraudulent Activity
Create fake bookings or reviews
Use stolen payment information
Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
Manipulate pricing or availability to deceive customers
Impersonate any person or entity
10.3 Spam and Harassment
Send unsolicited promotional messages through the Platform
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Collect user information without consent
10.4 Competitive Use
Use the Platform to build a competing service
Copy or replicate Platform features, design, or functionality
LetsBook and all related trademarks, logos, software, and content (excluding user content) are owned by Kyngsly Technologies. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission.
11.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. This license does not include any right to:
Resell or commercialize the Platform
Modify or create derivative works
Use the Platform for competitive purposes
11.3 DMCA Policy
If you believe content on LetsBook infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to dmca@letsbook.com with:
Identification of the copyrighted work
Location of the infringing material
Your contact information
A statement of good faith belief
A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
Physical or electronic signature
11.4 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Platform, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual license to use such feedback without compensation or attribution.
12. Disclaimers of Warranties
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY AS IT LIMITS OUR LIABILITY.
12.1 "As Is" Basis
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Implied warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Accuracy or reliability of information
12.2 Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times. We may experience downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
12.3 Third-Party Services
LetsBook integrates with third-party services (Stripe, email providers, etc.). We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or security of these third-party services.
12.4 Business Owner Services
WE DO NOT PROVIDE, ENDORSE, OR GUARANTEE THE SERVICES OFFERED BY BUSINESS OWNERS. We are not responsible for:
The quality, safety, or legality of services
The accuracy of service descriptions or pricing
Business Owner compliance with laws or regulations
Disputes between Business Owners and Customers
12.5 User Conduct
We are not responsible for the conduct of users, including fraudulent activity, harassment, or violations of these Terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
THIS SECTION LIMITS OUR LIABILITY TO YOU. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
13.1 Exclusion of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KYNGSLY TECHNOLOGIES, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
Loss of data or goodwill
Service interruptions or errors
Unauthorized access to your data
Actions of Business Owners or Customers
13.2 Liability Cap
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
$100 USD, OR
The amount you paid to LetsBook in the 12 months preceding the claim
13.3 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13.4 Business Owner Liability
If you are a Business Owner, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for services provided to customers and any claims arising from those services.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kyngsly Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any laws or regulations
Your violation of third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
Content you upload to the Platform
Your use of the Platform
Services provided by Business Owners (if you are a Business Owner)
Disputes with other users
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.
15. Termination
15.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
Business Owners: Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account
Customers: Contact the Business Owner or email support@letsbook.com
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (subject to legal retention requirements).
15.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:
You violate these Terms
We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
Required by law or legal process
You engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Platform
You repeatedly receive customer complaints
Your payment processing privileges are revoked by Stripe
15.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination:
Your access to the Platform will be revoked
Your booking page will be deactivated
Pending appointments may be cancelled
You remain liable for any outstanding fees or obligations
Sections of these Terms that should survive (indemnification, limitation of liability, etc.) will remain in effect
15.4 Data Export
Before deleting your account, we recommend exporting your data (Settings → Privacy & Data → Export Data). We are not obligated to provide data after account deletion.
16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
IMPORTANT: This section contains an arbitration agreement and class action waiver that affect your legal rights. Please read carefully.
16.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@letsbook.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 30 days.
16.2 Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any claim or dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that:
You may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement
16.3 Arbitration Rules
Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Bowie, Maryland, or another mutually agreed location.
16.4 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY ARBITRATION OR PROCEEDING SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND US INDIVIDUALLY. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
NO ARBITRATION OR PROCEEDING SHALL BE JOINED WITH ANY OTHER
THERE IS NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY FOR ANY DISPUTE TO BE ARBITRATED ON A CLASS-ACTION BASIS
YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION
16.5 Opt-Out
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@letsbook.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. The notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.
16.6 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17. Miscellaneous Provisions
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kyngsly Technologies regarding use of the Platform.
17.2 Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via:
Email to Business Owners
Prominent notice on the Platform
Updated "Last Updated" date
Your continued use of the Platform after changes indicates acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
17.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
17.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
17.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet failures, or government actions.
17.7 Independent Contractors
Business Owners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Kyngsly Technologies. No partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship exists.
17.8 Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights except as explicitly stated.
17.9 Survival
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (indemnification, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, etc.) will continue to apply after termination.
